MADE TO ORDER
At Shape, we believe that furniture should be cherished and enjoyed for a long time. That's why we offer a wide range of options for each piece of furniture and welcome custom requests to ensure that you get exactly what you want. As a result, most of our furniture is made to order.

By limiting the amount of inventory we keep in stock, we can focus on creating high-quality pieces that are tailored to your specific needs and preferences. This not only ensures that you get a piece you'll love, but also helps us reduce waste and maintain a sustainable approach to manufacturing.

While we aim to complete your order as quickly as possible, please note that made to order items typically take between 8-12 weeks to manufacture and deliver. If you're in a rush, such as if you need the item for a special occasion, please don't hesitate to contact us at sales@shape.furniture to discuss lead times. We'll do our best to accommodate your needs and ensure that you receive your order in a timely manner.

READY TO SHIP

To reduce waste as much as possible we make all of our accessories from our furniture offcuts allowing us to keep a regular stock of smaller items that are ready to ship.
While we typically make all of our furniture to order, we often make prototypes of new items to display at design fairs. These pieces are often available for purchase at a discounted price and can be shipped right away.
Ready to ship items typically take 1-2 weeks to package and deliver.

DELIVERY

With the exception of very large items, which we deliver personally, we use trusted third party delivery services to ship your order. The particular service we use will depend on the size of your items and the delivery rates at the time. Once an item is ready to ship, you will be notified when it has left our workshop and the delivery company will contact you with a delivery date.

PACKAGING

We flat pack our furniture, only where it makes sense to, to reduce the size of our packaging and limit the space it occupies during transit.

All of our packaging is made from recycled or recyclable material. We primarily use double-walled cardboard with reinforced cardboard edges, held together with recycled polyester strapping. This keeps your items well protected during transit and can be easily separated for recycling. We also limit the use of plastic tapes and plastic packaging wherever possible. If you should you ever receive anything either wrapped in or filled out with plastic packaging, this will be packaging we have reused from deliveries we’ve received ourselves. Rather than dispose of it, we would highly encourage you to re-use all of the packaging for another purpose too.

Packaging example
